A philosophy for a nurse is not only taking care of sick patients, but connecting with them emotionally and understanding their needs as an individual. We must take care of others as we would want to be taken care of. A nurse must use their mind, body, and most of all, their heart to take care of somone that ultimately needs their touch. And using what we have learned in the past can help us care for our patients now and in the future.
